Course Overview
Technologies have changed the way we live, work and play. One of such technology which is making huge impacts is Artificial Intelligence (AI). This introductory course will sensitize participants to the advancing role of AI in various industries. The advantages of AI will be highlighted and possible areas to be careful about will be considered too. The inclusion of this course is timely as the world must deliberate on the role of ethics and trust in AI applications. The daily topics are posted on the website and teaching method will be interactive and discussion based.
This course begins with introductory exposure under 4 modules. In this course, (1) you will learn what AI is and understand its applications and use cases and how it is transforming our lives. (2) You will explore basic AI concepts including machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks as well as use cases and applications of AI. (3) You will be exposed to concerns surrounding AI, including ethics, bias, jobs and the impacts on society. (4) Several experts will share their views on AI and how you can start a career in this field. After this introductory exposure of above-mentioned 4 modules, we will explore the use of AI in businesses management across various industries.
After the course, participants will know substantially more about the AI and related technologies. They will be able to think of different ways of utilizing AI in business and prepare themselves for the future of work.
Course Prerequisite(s): There are no prerequisites for this course. General interest in business management is sufficient. The only prerequisite is your desire to learn.
